This ship was constructed for the Galapagos waters, providing not only stability, but the possibility to anchor close to the landing sites. An ample selection of cabins is available over three decks allowing a wide range of choices and rates. As a 90-guest ship there is a better likelihood of making up groups of non-English speakers with- a common language (German, French, Portuguese, etc.)
A 90-guest ship also offers more flexibility in deciding on groups based on different criteria such as physical abilities and/or personal interests (e.g. shorter walks for older passengers, kids’ panga rides).
Extremely loyal, experienced and dedicated crew, who, in some cases, have worked onboard for over three decades.
3 Excellent, well balanced itineraries.
Enjoy other activities free of charge, like kayaking, trekking or downhill biking.

Accommodation
The M/V Santa Cruz was built exclusively for cruising in the Galapagos Islands, making her an ideal choice. She was completely renovated in 2015, having been redesigned and refurbished inside and out. She has 50 cabins. The Santa Cruz has gained worldwide reputation for its standards, including luxury service, professional crew members, category III multilingual naturalist/guides and menus that feature the very best international cuisine and celebrated Ecuadorian dishes. It has capacity for ninety guests.
Among the new features are two luxury master suites on the boat deck, each equipped with a double bed and a balcony, and two junior suites with twin beds that can be joined to form a large double. There are also six Santa Cruz superior class cabins with twin beds. All the cabins and bathrooms on deck have been renovated. Apart from that, the cabins now offer more choices among single, double, triple, and quadruple accommodation. Other new features include a lengthened sundeck, a new deck bar and a Jacuzzi, as well as an observation deck for whale and dolphin watching.
The dining room, lounge and bar are elegantly appointed, as is the well-stocked library/reading room. As an alternative to snorkeling, the glass-bottomed boat offers another opportunity to observe the marine life close up.
The entire ship is air-conditioned. A carefully planned itinerary includes the Galapagos' main highlights plus a flexible program allowing guests to enjoy several alternatives for their daily activities. In essence, this ship provides a fine expedition to the best National Park, aboard the only ship exclusively built for exploring the Galapagos.
