When you visit the Galapagos Marine Reserve, you are gaining access to the second largest marine reserve in the world and, due to the convergence of cold and warm currents, it hosts a myriad of sea life that in some cases, may only be seen at this remote part of the world.
The underwater world of Galapagos was voted best diving in 2,000 by Rodale's Scuba Diving Magazine and is one of the last places where you can dive with large schools of sharks! Today, it is a highly acclaimed diving location for fun, adventure and discovery. Let us be your guide as you explore these internationally acclaimed waters.

Galapagos Islands Diving Map

With way over 500 species of fish in the islands, about 17% of which are endemic, there is just so mucht to see under the sea. At each of our dive sites you have an excellent chance of seeing a variety of invertebrates, reef fish, eels, rays, sea turtles, sharks and many other species along and observing their fascinating behaviors.

We use only the best dive technology and 7mm wetsuits to keep you comfortable as you encounter thermoclines. Prices include all main equipment, dive boat, Dive Master guides, a snack onboard, lunch and clean towels.

Bartholomew

Scuba Diving in Galapagos

Location: Located at the east side of Santiago Island, a small island where we see the famous pinnacle rock of Bartolome, located within 90 minutes from the Itabaca Channel (north side of the island Santa Cruz).

Site Conditions: moderate current, is a platform at about 10 meters (33ft) deep with enough variety of reef fishes. We also find the edge of this platform a submarine canyon from 15 meters (50ft) deep with chance encounters pelagic species.

Activity: white tip shark fin, reef fish, barracuda, turtles, modula rays, stingrays and a variety of invertebrates and mollusks

THESE DAILY DIVE TOURS INCLUDE:

Two dives, dive boat, dive master guides, dive gear (complete wetsuit, regulator with octopus, BCD, mask, snorkel, fins, booties, gloves, hood, scuba tuba, tanks and weight belt), snack and hot lunch (Does not include lunch in Academy Bay).

**Please note: We need a minimum of two passengers per trip. Some trips may require more people. Minimum age to dive is 12 years old. Depth limit is 30m/100ft and no one can dive alone. Dive time limit is one hour. Travel time to and from dive sites will vary according to sea conditions. Dive sites may be changed or cancelled depending on weather/sea conditions.
